The Shift Leader acts as both a supervisor and an active team member, leading by example during shifts and ensuring smooth operations even when management is not present on-site.
The Shift Leader role demands versatility and a hands-on approach, requiring individuals to step into various positions such as cashier, grill, prep, fries, and dining room attendant. No task is considered too small, and adaptability is key to delivering fast, accurate service that creates memorable guest experiences every time. The Shift Leader also coaches, supports, and motivates crew members, contributing to a strong and positive team culture. They play a critical role in training new team members and enforcing brand standards for cleanliness, safety, and operational compliance. Managing shift-specific tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports also falls under their responsibilities. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality industry
- leadership experience preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced, active environment
- basic math skills
- ability to use POS systems
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Lead the shift and step in to run operations when management isn’t on site
