We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Convention Services Manager to join our team. This role is critical in driving catering and food and beverage sales while ensuring the hotel maintains its reputation for excellent service. As the Convention Services Manager, you will build meaningful relationships with clients and groups, ensuring every event is not only successful but also leaves a lasting impression. You will work closely with the Director of Sales or Director of Catering & Convention Services to achieve revenue targets and enhance client satisfaction. This position requires an individual with strong communication and negotiation skills, creativity, and the ability to stay ahead of market trends. You will be the heartbeat that keeps every event running smoothly from initial planning to flawless execution, making each celebration extraordinary. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Creativity and knowledge of food and beverage or events
- Professional selling skills including opening, probing, supporting, and closing
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer use
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and present effectively
