Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one year experience in upscale restaurant, hotel, resort, or private club preferred
  • Certification in liquor, wine, and food service including Alcohol Awareness preferred
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must meet minimum age requirements
  • Comply with responsible alcohol service standards

Job Duties

  • Address guests by name, observe and respond to requests, ensure service is complete
  • Assist servers with presenting menus, answering questions, making suggestions about food and beverage service
  • Prepare baskets with condiments and sides, confirm orders are accurate and presentable, serve to guests with a smile
  • Monitor supplies, maintain stock, keep kitchen and cafe areas clean and orderly
  • Assist servers in keeping service areas tidy, collect and maintain baskets, relay kitchen times to servers and management
  • Stay informed about the menu, drinks, specials, and unavailable items
  • Complete daily and weekly checklists and perform other duties as assigned
