As the Director of the Front Office at Sheraton Albuquerque Airport Hotel, you will play a pivotal role in leading the Front Office team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational efficiency and financial prudence. This leadership position requires you to oversee all Front Office operations including guest check-in and check-out processes, room inventory management, adherence to brand standards, and ensuring profitability through smart budget management and strict policy enforcement. Your strategic oversight will be crucial in supporting guest loyalty programs and collaborating closely with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations. Furthermore, your role entails being a mentor and champion for your team, providing coaching, supervision, and evaluation to foster a motivated and high-performing workforce. You will actively recruit, interview, and train new employees, ensuring the Front Office maintains its reputation for stellar service.
A significant aspect of your duties will involve monitoring guest satisfaction trends and promptly addressing any service issues to maintain high levels of guest approval and positive feedback. Utilizing your revenue management skills, you will implement innovative marketing and up-selling strategies to optimize room occupancy and revenue generation. Your leadership will extend beyond day-to-day operations, as you will serve as an emergency-ready Crisis Commander, lead daily reporting and critical decision-making processes, participate in Manager on Duty shifts, and contribute to special projects and operational challenges as they arise. Ideal candidates will have at least six years of progressive experience in front desk leadership or equivalent educational and professional background combined with relevant hospitality management experience. Candidates with brand-specific experience, PMS certification, and previous director-level roles are preferred.

Job Requirements
- At least six years progressive experience in front desk leadership or four-year college degree with four to five years related experience or two-year college degree with five to six years related experience
- Specific brand experience or OnQ PMS certification preferred
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Proficient with Windows operating systems
- Ability to analyze and use financial and data information
