The position of Student Health and Counseling Center Receptionist (Administrative Support Coordinator I) is a pivotal full-time role offering employment in a staff capacity with an anticipated monthly salary range between $4,047 to $4,211, commensurate with experience and qualifications, within a total salary range up to $5,896 monthly. This probationary, non-exempt role is fundamental to the SHCC’s daily operations, directly impacting the student experience by serving as one of the first points of contact.

The receptionist is tasked with delivering exceptional frontline customer service while managing administrative duties, including patient scheduling, maintaining the confidentiality and security of medical records, verifying eligibility and immunization compliance, and ensuring adherence to HIPAA requirements, university policies, and healthcare regulations. The role demands precision, excellent interpersonal communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic healthcare environment. Confidentiality and a student-centered approach are paramount as the position works closely with both medical and counseling teams to provide seamless support of wellness services.

The SHCC Receptionist also functions under the general supervision of the Director of Wellness Services and the supervisory guidance of the Medical Records Supervisor.
