Job Description
LDV Hospitality is a premier boutique hospitality group renowned for crafting authentic and unique restaurant and cocktail bar experiences across the country. Inspired by La Dolce Vita, "The Good Life," LDV Hospitality brings passion and dedication to every venue they manage, whether independently or in iconic hotels. Their mission is to offer guests an ambiance of effortless elegance coupled with genuine hospitality, making every visit memorable and special. LDV Hospitality prides itself on culinary integrity, exceptional service, and a strong team culture that supports the realization of these goals. The company fosters a workplace that is both an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug-Free Environment, encouraging a professional and respectful atmosphere for all employees.
The Seville, part of LDV Hospitality’s distinguished portfolio, is currently seeking a skilled Bartender to join their dynamic team. This role is essential to delivering an exceptional guest experience by preparing and serving beverages and food with precision and enthusiasm. The Bartender will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of service and hygiene, in line with LDV Hospitality’s operating procedures, ensuring every drink is crafted according to their established recipes and protocols. The role also includes familiarity with signature drinks and wines by the glass, using the correct stemware and glassware to enhance presentation and guest satisfaction.
In this position, the bartender is expected to provide engaged, friendly, and attentive customer service, including using appropriate body language such as eye contact and respectful conversation. The bartender also supports the food service when necessary by serving food orders that come from the bar. Maintaining a clean and organized bar area is critical to ensure safety and efficiency. The role demands adherence to all Department of Health standards and compliance with federal and state liquor control regulations.
Candidates must demonstrate a strong customer service background with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Basic math skills are essential to manage orders and cash transactions properly. A flexible schedule is required to accommodate the high-volume, fast-paced environment typical of New York City’s hospitality industry. Prospective bartenders will be expected to train new employees, uphold company grooming and uniform policies, and consistently attend training seminars and meetings.
The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of two to three years of bartending experience within a high-volume setting in NYC or a comparable market, coupled with a high school diploma. Physical stamina is equally important, as the role requires lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, often in an environment characterized by noise and movement. Professionals who thrive under pressure and maintain professionalism in fast-paced settings will find this role rewarding.
This position provides a unique opportunity to be part of a dedicated and passionate team that values authenticity, service excellence, and the celebration of "The Good Life" through hospitality. Working as a bartender at The Seville means contributing to a distinguished experience that elevates guests’ enjoyment and upholds LDV Hospitality’s reputation for extraordinary service and ambiance.
