The Refreshments Operator II role at Aramark plays a vital part in delivering exceptional customer service by maintaining the proper stocking and operation of customer refreshment equipment. This position requires managing the ordering, delivery, and stocking of products while ensuring the freshness and quality of inventory. The operator will actively communicate with client employees about new product offers, maintain accurate records through computer systems, and perform basic repairs to equipment to keep it functioning optimally. Duties include unloading daily inventory, monitoring product date codes for freshness, distributing promotional materials, cleaning equipment, and maintaining liaison with customers to project a positive image of the company and its products. This role demands excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to adapt quickly to changing demands, and a strong sense of urgency and problem-solving.

The position offers an hourly wage between $19.00 and $21.00, depending on the location and other factors. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • 1-2 years of customer service or interpersonal experience
  • valid driver's license
  • acceptable driving record
  • ability to lift bend push pull and stand for extended periods
  • willingness to travel on short notice
  • ability to work independently and efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in a position requiring interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • high school diploma or G.E.D. required
  • client interaction communication organization/time management are critical to the success of this role
  • ability to respond quickly to changing demands
  • strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • must possess the ability to work efficiently and independently
  • must be willing to travel to other locations to assist with short notice

Job Duties

  • Unload and stock daily inventory at customer site ensuring freshness of products by monitoring date codes
  • manage the ordering delivery and stocking of items at client location
  • communicate with customer's employees about new product interest
  • use a laptop computer to manage stocking PAR levels product orders and client invoicing
  • perform repairs to best of ability
  • call in orders and service calls to head office
  • distribute promotional materials and merchandise complete product line
  • clean equipment and exchange decanters on each visit
  • communicate with Route Sales Manager or General Manager regarding customers and reports on pending problems or on evidence of competitors in customer locations
  • establish and maintain a good working relationship and liaison with customers to project a positive image of the company and product
