Job Requirements
- must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time
- must be able to stand, stoop, and bend the entire shift
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- previous customer service work in hospitality or similar industry may substitute for a high school diploma or GED
- ServSafe certification required or to be obtained within one year of hire
Job Duties
- maintains a neat and sanitary work area at all times by following all guidelines set by dining services HACCP program
- maintains and cleans the serving area and all related areas and equipment
- is required to be trained in all areas of the floor and dishroom
- maintains a safe work area and adheres to all college policies regarding safe work environments
- serves as emergency response personnel required to report during college delays, closures, or emergencies
- works occasional holiday dinners and seasonal picnics throughout the academic year
- stands up to 3 hours at a time in a buffet line and assists as needed
