GovCIO is currently hiring a ServiceNow Workflow Manager to support critical modernization efforts within the Department of Defense. This position is fully onsite and located at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, Virginia, specifically at Langley Air Force Base. The role carries an annual salary range between $120,000 and $150,650, emphasizing the importance and responsibility entrusted to the candidate. The ServiceNow Workflow Manager will lead a dynamic team responsible for the development, deployment, and ongoing support of ServiceNow platform capabilities. The successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise across multiple ServiceNow modules with proven leadership skills in managing personnel, projects, and process improvements. Key responsibilities include providing technical direction and architectural guidance, leading complex ServiceNow projects such as platform upgrades, integrations, and custom application development, and overseeing Configuration Management Database (CMDB) strategies.

Candidates are expected to have a robust understanding and hands-on experience with core ServiceNow modules including IT Service Management (ITSM), CMDB, Performance Analytics, Customer Service Management (CSM), and Security Incident Response (SIR). Expertise in CMDB design, data governance, integration with discovery tools, and compliance with ITIL configuration management processes is essential. The manager should have strong development skills in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, REST/SOAP integrations, and UI customization, coupled with a commitment to secure development lifecycle principles.
Security clearance of TS/SCI is mandatory for this role, and the candidate must hold a DOD 8140 IAT II certification such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, or CND. Preferred qualifications include certifications like ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ITIL Foundations, as well as experience operating within DOD networks including NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS.
