Job Description

Boston Volvo Cars is a proud member of the Village Automotive Group, a reputable and expansive automotive dealership network operating throughout Greater Boston and Colorado. Established over 60 years ago, the Village Automotive Group represents several prestigious automotive brands including Audi, Porsche, Volvo, Polestar, Koenigsegg, McLaren, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Maserati, Honda, GMC, and CDJR. The company has earned its outstanding reputation not just from its extensive range of luxury and high-performance vehicles but from a deeply-rooted philosophy that puts employee satisfaction at the core of its success. This employee-first approach fosters a supportive and family-like work environment where team members are motivated to deliver exceptional customer service consistently. At Boston Volvo Cars, this translates to creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere where both staff and customers feel valued and respected.

The role currently available is for a Part-Time Valet / Lot Attendant position within the service department, designed for candidates who are passionate about cars and excellent service delivery but need flexible working hours. The role typically involves working 17 or more hours weekly, from Monday to Friday between 3:00 PM and 6:30 PM. Compensation is competitive, ranging from $20 to $22 per hour, making it an attractive opportunity for individuals seeking part-time employment within a trusted and thriving automotive group.

As a Valet / Lot Attendant, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that customers experience a seamless and positive interaction with the dealership from the moment they arrive to their departure. This includes greeting customers warmly and professionally, handling vehicle drop-offs carefully, and managing the flow of cars in the service area to maintain an organized and efficient operation. You will be entrusted with the important task of safely driving customer vehicles to various designated locations within the dealership or service lot, always adhering to strict safety standards. Your role ensures that vehicles are properly parked, accessible, and ready for technicians and advisors to perform their work effectively.

Collaboration is central to this position as you will work closely with service advisors and technicians to maintain smooth workflows and timely service delivery. Additional duties include picking up and delivering vehicles to customers as required, providing transportation for customers to and from the dealership when their vehicles are being serviced, and performing light detailing such as washing, vacuuming, and topping off fuel to enhance the overall customer experience.

This position demands strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a positive, professional demeanor. Being punctual, reliable, and demonstrating a team-oriented attitude are essential qualities for success in this role. Boston Volvo Cars is committed to providing an inclusive working environment free from discrimination or harassment, embracing diversity as a key strength in the company culture. If you are 21 years or older, possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record, and are enthusiastic about delivering outstanding customer service in a luxury automotive setting, this part-time role offers an excellent opportunity to join a respected and growing team.
