This extensive network offers a diverse range of 15 new car brands, including Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram Trucks, FIAT, Alfa Romeo, Chevrolet, Ford, Buick, GMC, Kia, Volkswagen, Nissan, Hyundai, and Acura, along with advanced Collision Centers, a Pre-owned Car and Truck Liquidation Outlet, and more than 700 dedicated employees. The Southern Auto Group is committed to providing customers with exceptional service, adhering to high standards of integrity, honesty, and ethical behavior. The company emphasizes career development and internal advancement opportunities within its dealerships, fostering a supportive work environment with low employee turnover and emphasis on employee growth and compensation. Southern Auto Group operates with a mission to meet and exceed customer expectations through quality products, exceptional service, and a dynamic workplace that encourages professional growth and a competitive edge in the automotive industry.
The role of Service Valet at Southern Auto Group invites individuals who are energetic, responsible drivers with a strong focus on customer service and safety. This position is integral to the Service Department's operations, helping to maintain efficient and orderly vehicle movement throughout the dealership and service shop. Service Valets are responsible for transporting customer vehicles between the welcome area and technician bays, ensuring seamless traffic flow and enhancing customer convenience. The ideal candidate for this role is at least 18 years old, holds a valid and unrestricted driver's license, has a clean driving record, and is capable of driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles. The role requires excellent communication skills in English, a professional demeanor, good time management, and the ability to perform various physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Service Valets interact directly with customers by greeting them warmly, providing information, and supporting the service team by managing vehicle logistics, maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the service area, and assisting with loaner vehicles when needed. This position is perfect for individuals seeking an active, hands-on job that involves constant movement and interaction, rather than a traditional desk job. The company values a neat presentation and a strong work ethic, offering a career path with potential growth within its broad dealership network. Southern Auto Group emphasizes a positive workplace culture where employees can thrive and progress, making it an excellent place for motivated individuals to build a career in the automotive service industry.
