Job Description

David McDavid Honda of Frisco is a premier automotive dealership located in Frisco, Texas. It is part of Asbury Automotive Group, a Fortune 500 company and one of the largest franchised automotive retailers in the United States. Asbury Automotive Group is known for redefining the traditional dealership model by incorporating innovative technologies such as Clicklane, which streamlines the car-buying process. The company is deeply committed to its team members, guests, and partners, creating an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages both personal and professional growth.

As part of Asbury’s culture, the dealership is powered by its DRIVE values and guided by its North Star and Compass, aiming to become the Most Guest Centric Automotive Retailer. This commitment to exceptional customer service combined with a strong focus on innovation and team collaboration has earned the company recognition as one of the best places to work by prestigious publications like Newsweek and US News & World Report.

The role of Service Valet at David McDavid Honda of Frisco is a vital frontline position within the service department. This is an hourly position focused on delivering excellent guest experiences from the moment customers arrive for their service appointments. The Service Valet serves as the initial contact for arriving service customers, greeting them promptly and courteously. This position requires a friendly and professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to efficiently manage vehicle intake and movement on the service lot.

The Service Valet’s responsibilities extend beyond greeting customers; they are instrumental in ensuring efficient vehicle flow and safety within the dealership. After welcoming customers and gathering vehicle information, the valet safely moves customer vehicles from the service drive to the service shop or designated areas. This role involves adhering to strict key control procedures and maintaining a secure environment to protect customer vehicles.

In addition to vehicle movements, the Service Valet supports Service Advisors by maintaining organization on the service drive and assisting with customer needs. The role requires the ability to work outdoors and remain on their feet for extended periods, reflecting the physically active nature of the job. The Service Valet also participates in dealership-wide efforts to promote excellent customer satisfaction (CSI) by following established vehicle delivery procedures that encourage repeat visits and build customer loyalty.

This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes guest-centric service and professional growth. Employees benefit from paid training, ongoing development programs, and a positive work culture. The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, have a passion for automotive service, and thrive in an energetic, team-oriented environment. Working at David McDavid Honda of Frisco provides the chance to contribute meaningfully to a respected and growing automotive retailer that values innovation and teamwork.
