The open position is for a Service Technician 2 located at their Richardson service center, offering a direct-hire opportunity. The role operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 7 am to 3:30 pm, providing consistent working hours in a moderately controlled manufacturing environment. The Service Technician 2 plays a vital part in the vacuum pump remanufacturing process, focusing primarily on the meticulous disassembly of industrial vacuum equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined individual capable of handling tools and equipment safely and efficiently, while adhering strictly to operational procedures and safety protocols. An essential part of the role involves cleaning and maintaining pumps, using specialized equipment such as cold dip parts cleaners, high-pressure washers, bead blasters, and sandblasters to ensure optimal component condition.

Job Requirements
- Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen and 7-year criminal history check
- Most felonies disqualify, misdemeanors considered case-by-case
- Must pass respirator fit test with annual retesting
- Willingness to maintain minimal facial hair for respirator fitment
- Willingness and ability to utilize all required PPE
- Constant reaching outward, lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 10 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs
- Occasional climbing, squatting, kneeling, reaching above the shoulder, lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs
- Ability to hear and see audible and visual alarms
- Ability to wear safety shoes, electrical hazard protective equipment, safety glasses, and hearing protection
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or General Education Degree
- One year or more experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented, organized, and safety-oriented
- Positive attitude and dependable
Job Duties
- Remove pumps from the frame and disassemble pump components minimizing any damage to components during disassembly per the prescribed timeframe
- Clean industrial pumps using cold dip parts cleaner, hot dip parts cleaner, high-pressure parts washer, bead blaster, and sandblaster
- Perform preventive maintenance on shop equipment as part of the Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) program
- Safely and productively operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes
- Work independently or as a team to fulfill department and Busch goals and objectives
- Assist with implementing and maintaining 5S and Lean activities to improve flow and reduce waste as directed by Management
- Maintain measurable and productive output as defined by production goals
