Patterson is currently seeking a motivated individual with a strong mechanical aptitude to join their Dental Service team as a Service Technician. This role offers the unique opportunity to work alongside some of the best professionals in the dental industry, providing first-class customer service while learning how to install and repair a wide variety of dental equipment, including computer-related devices. As a Service Technician, the successful candidate will gain essential experience by safely removing, modifying, repairing, and installing dental equipment with increasing independence after initial training. The role requires adherence to manufacturer and company guidelines, OSHA standards, and other applicable laws related to asepsis ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism are maintained. Beyond technical skills, the Service Technician will also excel in customer service, building strong relationships through timely, respectful, and considerate interactions.
This position emphasizes effective communication skills, requiring the ability to explain technical details in a way that is understandable to non-technical audiences. - Mechanical aptitude required

Job Duties
- Safely remove modify repair and install various dental equipment under general supervision with the ability to work independently after training
- Follow checklists ensuring all critical parts are examined
- Demonstrate knowledge on the installation procedures and jobsite protocol
- Apply specific manufacturer and Patterson guidelines OSHA and other applicable laws and regulations related to asepsis
- Support customer needs through timely and professional responses
- Build and maintain customer relationships through follow-up and courteous interactions
- Manage parts supplies and tools needed to complete service requests and maintain vehicle inventory
