This position requires a hands-on individual who is mechanically inclined and capable of handling a variety of repair activities, including plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical, and construction-related duties. Additionally, the Service Technician will be responsible for interior painting projects within buildings and amenities, ensuring that the community remains visually appealing and functional.

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical skills and customer service orientation, delivering timely repairs and maintenance services to residents while contributing ideas for service improvements. This role involves physical labor including lifting heavy objects up to 100 pounds, and the ability to work in various postures such as standing, walking, crawling, and climbing. The position demands high attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to function independently with minimal supervision. The technician may also be required to perform on-call duties to respond to emergencies or urgent repairs outside of regular working hours.

The apprenticeship or experience level for this position is flexible, with a minimum of a one-year certificate from a college or technical school or approximately two years of related experience in a similar residential apartment maintenance environment.
