Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of maintenance experience
- advanced knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry
- ability to diagnose problems and recommend repairs
- ability to work with limited supervision
- valid California driver’s license
- ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing
- ability to move in and out of various physical positions
- ability to push and pull up to 118 pounds
- ability to lift below waist up to 77 pounds and above waist 50 pounds
- willingness to travel between communities
- ability to perform functions at multiple sites
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of maintenance experience required
- advanced knowledge in at least one of the following: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry
- ability to diagnose problems and recommend repairs
- ability to work with limited supervision
- skills include time-management, effective verbal and written communication, and organization
- valid California driver’s license
- ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- multilingual ability a plus
- ability to move in and out of a variety of positions including sitting, standing, walking, squatting, stair and ladder climbing, kneeling, belly crawling, overhead reaching, lifting, carrying
- ability to push and pull up to 118 pounds of force
- ability to lift below waist up to 77 pounds and above waist 50 pounds
- travel between communities may be required
- ability to perform functions at multiple sites
Job Duties
- Performs maintenance service requests and preventative maintenance of work throughout the community
- completes property preventative maintenance on required systems and mechanical equipment
- ability to diagnose problems and recommend repairs
- performs turn service for vacant units in accordance with established quality standards
- understanding of progress to key performance indicators and identifying opportunities
- ensures community common areas and grounds are maintained according to company standards
- identifies and resolves any hazards
- provides excellent customer service through responsiveness and positive interactions
- performs work using safe work practices
- ensures completion of safety training and actively identifies and mitigates risks
- responsible for inventory of parts and appliances
- responsible for general maintenance and orderliness of facilities
- maintains accurate records of work performed utilizing Salesforce
- performs community projects which could include painting, drywall repair, stucco repair
