Job Description

Panda Restaurant Group, Inc., founded in Glendale, California, in 1983, is the largest family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept in the United States. With nearly 2,300 locations worldwide, Panda Restaurant Group continues its mission to deliver exceptional Asian dining experiences to guests. The company is deeply rooted in family values and prides itself on creating an inspiring workplace where employees are motivated to improve their lives while positively impacting the communities they serve. As a leader in the restaurant industry, Panda maintains a commitment to fostering a safe and supportive work environment, where team members become friends and opportunities for growth abound. The company truly values the importance of diversity and inclusion and is an equal opportunity employer. It ensures accommodations are available for applicants and employees with disabilities, promoting a fair hiring process and workplace environment.

The Service Team Associate role at Panda Restaurant Group is a welcoming opportunity for friendly, team-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This position focuses on creating a warm atmosphere for guests while delivering excellent service. Whether you have prior experience or are new to the hospitality industry, Panda offers extensive hands-on paid training to prepare you for success in various team roles. This role immerses you in multiple aspects of store operations — from greeting guests, serving meals, and handling payments to maintaining cleanliness, adhering to operational standards, and helping in the kitchen and drive-thru. Working at Panda means engaging with a motivated team aimed at meeting daily goals in a fun and positive setting. Flexibility, efficiency, and a keen attention to quality and safety are essential traits to flourish in this position.

The job offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $21 to $24, which varies depending on location and prior experience. Beyond compensation, Panda provides a wealth of benefits, including flexible schedules, free meals during shifts, comprehensive insurance options for full-time associates such as medical, vision, dental, short-term disability, and cancer income protection. Employees also benefit from pre-tax flexible spending accounts for health and dependent care, a 401K plan with company match, paid leave options including vacation and sick leave, as well as associate discounts on a variety of brands. Referral bonuses and community involvement through the Panda Cares initiative enhance the rewarding nature of working with the company. For motivated individuals seeking growth, Panda offers ongoing career and leadership development, with opportunities to advance into management roles. This role is perfect for someone looking for a supportive workplace where their dedication and hard work are valued and where they can contribute meaningfully to both the team and the broader community.
