Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Basic computer proficiency
- Knowledge of automotive tires and equipment
- Experience in tire installation and sales preferred
- Certification completion within required timeframe
- Ability to lift 30 pounds or more with assistance
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work standing for extended periods
- Capability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment
- Compliance with Florida qualifier certification for retail propane operations if applicable
- Regular, reliable attendance
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma and/or college degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of tires, batteries, propane tanks, and tire bay equipment
- Prior tire installation and sales experience preferred
- Level 400 certified technician preferred
- Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire
- Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance
- Demonstrates leadership capabilities including managing and supervising cross-functional teams
- Experience in training team members and driving communication of results
Job Duties
- Supervises tire bay team members and ensures a safe and compliant working environment
- Ensures proper scheduling and staffing within tire bay operations
- Oversees installation, mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing of tires
- Installs, sells, and repairs tires and manages propane tank refilling according to club policy
- Maintains and orders tire bay equipment and ensures safe operation
- Keeps the tire bay and waiting area clean, organized, and professionally merchandised
- Provides knowledgeable service at the tire desk and coordinates with Home Office on member tire needs
- Maintains accurate tire supply inventory and utilizes special-order tire programs effectively
- Monitors tire bay sales transactions and handles cash transactions when applicable
- Complies with safety and cleanliness standards and manages tire bay audits and checklists
- Oversees tire bay records retention and ensures timely completion and filing of all required certifications
- Builds strong working relationships with team members, motivates, coaches, and administers performance appraisals
- Completes required qualifier certification for managing retail propane operations in Florida
- Maintains all club policies and procedures adherence
- Performs additional duties as assigned including work in other departments as needed
- Ensures regular, predictable full attendance as essential to job performance
