Cintas Corporation is a leading provider of products and services that ensure businesses of all types and sizes maintain clean, safe, and professional environments. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, and publicly traded on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol CTAS, Cintas is a Fortune 500 company and a member of both the Standard & Poor's 500 Index and the Nasdaq-100 Index. The company supports over one million businesses by offering a wide array of services including uniforms, mats, mops, towels, restroom supplies, workplace water services, first aid and safety products, eye-wash stations, safety training, fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, and alarm service. Their mission is to help customers "Get Ready for the Workday®" by providing essential products and services that contribute to a safe, healthy, and productive workplace environment.
This opportunity is for the position of Service Supervisor within Cintas' Rental organization. The role is a critical middle-management position focused on overseeing the customer-facing service team, which operates both on route and in-house. The Service Supervisor is responsible for supervising and developing a dedicated team that delivers customer service excellence, manages sales activities, and coordinates the pickup and delivery of products to customers efficiently and reliably. The supervisor is expected to lead by example, participating on-site visits, assisting with physical tasks such as lifting and carrying, and driving company-owned vehicles to customer locations.
The position demands a balanced skill set that includes leadership, operational management, and customer relationship management. Key responsibilities include hiring, training, developing, and evaluating team members to ensure the highest level of service quality. The Service Supervisor also oversees several vital operational areas: maintaining strong customer relationships, handling renewals of customer contracts, driving internal sales growth, and ensuring route efficiency as well as compliance with driver regulations. This role requires someone with the ability to manage multiple priorities, encourage team performance, and uphold the high standards of Cintas' services.
Employment in this full-time, regular status role involves working primarily the first shift. The position requires compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) or Provincial standards for operating regulated vehicles over 10,000 pounds. Candidates must have an active driver’s license, be at least 21 years old, obtain DOT medical certification, and provide previous employment documentation relevant to DOT regulations. The ideal candidate is someone with strong customer service experience, preferably within an industrial or service industry setting, and may also have experience in sales or training roles.
Cintas offers competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package designed to support the health and well-being of its employees. These benefits include multiple medical plan options with premiums below national averages, including a zero-cost medical plan, dental and vision coverage, company-paid disability, life, and AD&D insurance, paid time off, holidays, and opportunities for skills development, training, and career advancement. Furthermore, employees have access to a 401(k) plan with company matching, profit sharing, and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Cintas prides itself on being an Equal Opportunity Employer, welcoming diverse applicants and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
Joining Cintas as a Service Supervisor offers a chance to be part of a successful and growing organization committed to excellence in customer service and operational leadership. This role provides the opportunity to lead a dynamic team, impact customer satisfaction positively, and grow professionally within a respected Fortune 500 company.
