The company is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is publicly traded on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol CTAS. As a Fortune 500 company and a member of both the Standard & Poor's 500 Index and Nasdaq-100 Index, Cintas has established itself as a trusted business partner dedicated to facilitating the operational readiness of its clients each and every day.
In the role of Service Supervisor at Cintas, the individual will play a critical part in leading the customer-facing service team that works on routes and in-house. The Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service team, which includes delivering high-quality customer service, supporting sales efforts, and managing the pickup and delivery of products directly to customers. This position carries substantial leadership responsibilities, such as hiring, training, developing, and evaluating team members to ensure that Cintas customers receive superior service in the most efficient manner possible.
The Service Supervisor will also drive a company-owned vehicle to and from customer sites and assist the service team with physical tasks such as lifting and carrying as they navigate in and out of customer accounts. Oversight responsibilities extend to managing key aspects of the service department including nurturing excellent customer relationships, handling contract renewals, driving internal sales growth, maintaining an efficient route structure, and ensuring driver compliance with company and regulatory standards. This middle-management role requires strong leadership, operational management skills, and a commitment to fostering a culture of safety, service excellence, and teamwork.
The position is full-time and based on the first shift, emphasizing consistent daily involvement in both field and office-based activities. Cintas offers a comprehensive benefits package and supports employee career advancement through ongoing skills development and training opportunities. Candidates for this position should expect a challenging and rewarding work environment where their efforts directly impact the customer experience and business success.
This role requires adherence to Department of Transportation regulations and standards for driving regulated vehicles over 10,000 lbs, making qualifications such as possessing a valid driver's license, meeting age requirements, and obtaining necessary medical certifications essential prior to employment. With a focus on both service and sales leadership, the Service Supervisor role at Cintas offers an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals seeking to advance their careers in a dynamic and supportive corporate culture.
