The role of Service Supervisor at Cintas is a key middle-management position responsible for directly overseeing the customer-facing service team both on the road and in-house. This role holds significant leadership accountability and demands a hands-on approach to managing the service team, who handle customer service, sales, product pick-up, and delivery to various customer sites. The Service Supervisor is tasked with hiring, training, developing, and evaluating team members to ensure customers receive the highest level of service quality and product efficiency. A deep understanding of service department areas is essential, encompassing customer relationship management, contract renewals, internal sales growth, route optimization, and driver compliance.

This position requires driving a company-owned vehicle to customer locations, assisting the team with physical tasks such as lifting and carrying, and walking in and around customer accounts, making physical fitness and adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations critical. The Service Supervisor also plays a vital role in maintaining efficient route structures and ensuring strict compliance with driver safety standards.

Candidates for this position must meet DOT requirements which include holding an active driver's license, being at least 21 years old, obtaining DOT medical certification, and providing employment documentation. Preferred candidates will have experience in sales roles, customer service particularly in industrial or service industries, and training or instructional background.

Job Requirements

  • Meet all Department of Transportation requirements for driving a regulated vehicle over 10,000 lbs
  • Hold an active driver’s license
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Obtain a DOT medical certification
  • Provide documentation regarding previous employment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience working in a sales-related role
  • Customer service experience, preferably in industrial or service industries

Job Duties
