The role of a Service Specialist at Opensity is integral to maintaining high standards of client satisfaction through a wide array of administrative and support services. Service Specialists act as the frontline representatives, upholding professionalism while ensuring that client environments remain well-organized, welcoming, and efficiently managed.

As part of the Opensity Solutions team, Service Specialists are responsible for managing daily tasks that include metering and sorting mail, accurately producing printed materials, answering and routing telephone calls, greeting visitors in a courteous manner, and maintaining client conference rooms and common areas to optimal standards. This role demands strong communication skills, physical endurance to handle moving and lifting requirements, and the ability to troubleshoot issues with tact and professionalism.

Working hours for this position are scheduled from 10 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday, reflecting the company’s commitment to providing consistent and reliable service coverage. Compensation for this role ranges between $22.00 and $25.00 per hour, with eligibility for annual bonuses based on performance, location, skills, and experience. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience in a customer service field
  • Ability to multitask with attention to detail
  • Ability to resolve issues with professionalism and tact
  • Ability to lift or move 40 lbs or greater
  • Ability to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs
  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period
  • Availability to work 10 AM to 7 PM Monday through Friday

Job Duties

  • Metering, sorting, and distributing mail and accountable packages per schedule
  • Accurately producing copy, print, and scan projects per written instructions
  • Answering incoming telephone calls and routing to the appropriate person
  • Greeting and announcing visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Coordinating and maintaining client conference rooms, common areas, and kitchens
  • Inspecting and ensuring cleanliness, stocking supplies, and organizing client kitchen supplies
  • Maintaining inventory control and ordering supplies as needed
  • Upkeep of copy rooms and stocking of general supplies
  • Delivering paper and performing basic daily maintenance
  • Performing facilities services such as hanging pictures, small office moves, cleaning services, and communication regarding building or equipment concerns
  • Moving tables and chairs for conference room setup and breakdown
