The Service Specialist role at Opensity is an integral part of a team that ensures seamless administrative support across various client needs. This position involves a diverse range of responsibilities, including managing mail services, performing copy and print functions, handling receptionist duties, and coordinating hospitality and facilities services. Service Specialists are tasked with metering, sorting, and distributing mail and accountable packages efficiently and on schedule. They accurately produce copy, print, and scan projects according to specific instructions, ensuring high-quality output and client satisfaction. As front-line representatives, Service Specialists answer incoming phone calls and greet visitors with professionalism and warmth, creating a welcoming environment.

Hospitality duties include maintaining client conference rooms, common areas, and kitchens, ensuring that all spaces are clean, well-stocked, and ready for use. This also involves inventory control and ordering supplies to meet ongoing needs. The role requires floor coordination tasks such as maintaining copy rooms, delivering paper and supplies, and basic maintenance duties. Additionally, Service Specialists support facilities operations by assisting with small office moves, hanging pictures, performing cleaning services, and coordinating with client contacts regarding building and equipment concerns.

Service Specialists are expected to be physically capable of performing duties such as lifting or moving packages up to 40 pounds, maneuvering wheeled carts with loads up to 75 pounds, and enduring extended periods of standing or walking. Compensation for the role is competitive, with a rate of up to 19.00 USD per hour and potential eligibility for an annual bonus. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience in a customer services field
  • Ability to multitask with attention to detail

  • Ability to lift or move 40 lbs or greater
  • Ability to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs
  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time
