The role of Valet Porter at Germain Automotive Partnership is vital in maintaining smooth operations within the service department. This position is responsible for promptly greeting customers as they arrive and ensuring their experience is seamless from the moment they enter the service lane. The Valet Porter will welcome customers and direct them to one of the Service Writers, helping to uphold the dealership's high standards of customer service. Key responsibilities include installing interior protection packages such as floor and seat coverings to safeguard customer vehicles during service. Additionally, the Valet Porter will manage the movement of vehicles in the service lane, including pulling vehicles forward and placing tire inspection forms inside them. Maintaining clear and efficient service lanes is critical to this role, requiring constant communication with both Service Writers and customers to keep the workflow moving smoothly. Job Duties

  • Promptly greet every customer as they approach service department
  • Welcome customers and provide them with one of our Service Writers
  • Install interior protection package (floor and seat covering)
  • Pull vehicles forward in service lane, place tire inspection form in vehicle
  • Keep Service lane clear and moving at all times communicating with Service Writer and customer
