The Service Valet/Lot Person acts as the first point of contact in the service department, greeting customers warmly and managing the logistics of vehicle movement within the service area. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely maneuver vehicles, ensuring that all customer vehicles are handled with care and respect. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license with a clean and safe driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch as needed
- Insurability rating acceptable to company
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Comfortable working in an outdoor lot environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 40 pounds
- Knowledge of basic vehicle handling and safety procedures
Job Duties
- Greet customers and assist them as they bring their vehicles in for service
- Safely move and park customer vehicles within the service lot
- Manage and organize the service lot to maximize space and efficiency
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and technicians regarding vehicle movement and status
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the service area and lot
- Assist in basic vehicle checks and preparation for service
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and driving regulations within the service lot
