Job Description

Anderson Ford North is a reputable, family-owned automotive dealership that has been serving communities in Nebraska and Missouri for over 40 years. Rooted deeply in family values and dedicated to supporting the communities around them, Anderson Auto Group has established itself as a trusted and reliable name in the automotive retail industry. With eight retail locations across Nebraska and Missouri, Anderson Auto Group prides itself on offering an exceptional car buying and servicing experience that centers on valuing people — customers, employees, and community members alike. The company’s mission is founded on building strong relationships and contributing positively to the local areas where it operates, promoting a culture of respect, integrity, and continuous improvement.

The position of Service Porter at Anderson Ford North offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive service team in a full-time capacity. The role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of the dealership’s service department by assisting with the movement, maintenance, and care of customer vehicles. This position not only ensures that the vehicles are handled safely and efficiently but also plays a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service by supporting the technicians and administrative staff in keeping the service experience seamless and organized.

This full-time position is ideally suited for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoy working in a team environment. Anderson Ford North emphasizes a workplace culture that nurtures professional development and personal growth. Team members are supported through continued education and training opportunities, allowing them to enhance their skills and advance their careers within the company. In addition to the engaging work environment, employees benefit from a comprehensive package of benefits including paid vacation, no weekend work, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, a 401k matching program, and employee discounts on vehicles, service, and parts.

The responsibility of the Service Porter includes picking up and delivering customer vehicles promptly, ensuring vehicle fluids and batteries are checked regularly, parking vehicles safely within the dealership’s premises, and maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment. These duties are critical to the overall efficiency and customer satisfaction experienced at Anderson Ford North. The company seeks a candidate who is at least 21 years old, possesses excellent customer service skills, is able to follow detailed instructions, and demonstrates a strong attention to detail. A valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the United States are mandatory requirements for this role. As part of its commitment to maintaining a safe and trustworthy workplace, Anderson Auto Group requires candidates to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Joining Anderson Ford North means becoming a part of a longstanding family tradition that values respect, teamwork, and community involvement. The dealership’s family-oriented culture is reflected in its employee appreciation events, such as cook-outs, outings, and contests, reinforcing a friendly and inclusive working atmosphere. Prospective Service Porters can expect a rewarding career with clear pathways for growth and development in an environment that recognizes and rewards hard work and dedication.
