We are currently seeking a positive and enthusiastic Service Porter to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing vehicle flow within our service stalls, lane, drive, and parking lots, ensuring a smooth and organized operation. You will work closely with our service advisors to assist in key tasks such as cleaning cars, moving vehicles from service stalls, and maintaining dealership display standards. As a Service Porter, your responsibilities will extend to greeting customers professionally, managing keys efficiently, and helping prepare vehicles for timely return after service. This position requires a proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will be dependable, customer-oriented, and capable of performing physical tasks including walking and standing for extended periods and working outdoors. Driving skills for both automatic and standard transmission vehicles are essential. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year experience in customer service or related field
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to handle physical job requirements including walking and standing for long periods
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic proficiency in computer usage

Job Qualifications

  • One year previous experience in a customer service position
  • Ability to present oneself professionally and courteously to customers
  • Dependability and reliability
  • Multitasking capability and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods and work outside
  • Ability to drive automatic and standard transmission vehicles
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Valid and clean driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Manage vehicle flow in service stalls, service lane, service drive, and parking lot
  • Work with service advisor to complete tasks like tracking key tasks, cleaning cars, driving vehicles, following display standards, fielding customer requests
  • Keep keys organized for quick retrieval
  • Present a friendly, professional greeting to customers
  • Ensure vehicles are ready for return after repairs
  • Clean parking lot, service stalls, and other vehicle areas as needed
  • Service customer needs with a positive attitude
  • Perform other assigned duties
