We are currently seeking a dedicated and energetic Automotive Service Porter to join our dynamic and fast-paced service team. This position is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our service lanes and parking areas. As an Automotive Service Porter, you will represent the face of our service department, providing the crucial first impression customers receive upon arrival. Your role involves acting as a liaison between customers, Service Advisors, and technicians, which requires a strong sense of responsibility, customer orientation, and communication skills.

The Service Porter’s responsibilities include managing vehicle flow in the service drive, safely parking and retrieving customer vehicles, and ensuring that the service drive and lot are clean, organized, and welcoming. This role is vital in supporting service operations by assisting with vehicle preparation, protection, and basic maintenance tasks. You will help install disposable protective coverings such as floor mats and seat covers to protect customer vehicles during servicing, as well as tag them for identification. In addition, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service drive and parking areas is a critical duty involving light custodial work, including trash pickup, sweeping, and snow or ice removal during Ohio winters.

Collaboration is key, and the Service Porter will back up Service Advisors and Technicians by running service parts, retrieving keys, and supporting with basic vehicle inspections and maintenance. The position also includes providing backup shuttle services for customers requiring transportation while their vehicles are being serviced.
