The Alinea Group is currently seeking a full-time Service Porter (Polisher) to join their esteemed team. This role is fundamental to maintaining the quality and smooth operation of the front-of-house service environment. As a Service Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dining equipment, including dishware, glassware, utensils, and interior décor, are impeccably clean, organized, and up to the high standards set by the Alinea Group. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

The role is hourly paid and expects candidates to commit to working five or more days a week, totaling 40 or more hours. The Service Porter operates critical equipment such as dish machines and cleaning tools with precision to guarantee that all tableware is sanitized and ready for use during service. Collaboration with front-of-house staff, including runners and servers, is key to meeting immediate service needs and ensuring the dining room is properly set up for a seamless guest experience. The position demands physical endurance, including standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and frequent stair climbing, which aligns with the fast-paced, physically demanding environment of fine dining.

This role offers a competitive wage between $20.50 and $21.00 per hour.
