The Service Porter role is an essential position within the service department, responsible for the efficient movement and parking of vehicles to facilitate smooth service operations. This role also involves interacting with customers by driving their vehicles to and from the dealership as needed, ensuring all vehicles are handled with care and in accordance with dealership standards. The Service Porter takes on tasks such as placing and removing protective covers, ID tags, and mats to maintain the cleanliness and safety of each vehicle before and after service. Job Duties

  • Move cars as directed by management
  • Drive customers or vehicles to and from dealership
  • Place protective covers, ID tags and mats inside vehicles and remove prior to returning vehicle
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures and safety standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
