The Service Lot Porter position plays an essential role within the service department at Ron Marhofer Auto Family. This full-time role is vital in maintaining the smooth operation of the service department by ensuring that vehicles are properly moved, cleaned, and organized throughout the lot. The Service Lot Porter is responsible for facilitating the flow of vehicles between service drives, technician bays, and parking areas, while also ensuring the overall neatness and safety of the service lot. This entry-level support role is crucial in upholding the professional appearance and operational efficiency of the dealership’s service area, contributing directly to the customer experience.

In this role, the individual will be tasked with handling a variety of hands-on duties such as washing, vacuuming, and fueling vehicles to prepare them for customer delivery. Additionally, the Service Lot Porter performs vehicle inspections to check for damage and reports findings to the Service Manager to maintain high standards of care for both dealership and customer vehicles. The position also supports service advisors and technicians by managing the logistics of vehicle flow and assisting with everyday operational tasks that keep the lot organized and running efficiently.

The Service Lot Porter must exhibit a friendly and professional demeanor, particularly when interacting with customers. Greeting guests, assisting with vehicle drop-off and pick-up, and facilitating traffic flow within the lot are important aspects of supporting an exceptional customer service experience. The role demands reliability, punctuality, and the physical ability to perform tasks including standing, walking, lifting up to forty pounds, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Job Duties
