As part of the service department team at West Broad Honda, the Service Porter plays an essential role in supporting day-to-day operations. This full-time position is designed for someone who is outgoing, detail-oriented, and capable of providing excellent customer service. The Service Porter assists with the service write-up process, tags customer vehicles for service, and ensures the dealership’s facilities are kept clean and presentable. Additionally, this role involves safely moving and parking vehicles, helping customers by providing rides as needed, and handling various logistical tasks such as pick-ups and deliveries. This role is critical in enhancing the overall customer experience and maintaining the smooth functioning of the service department. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • manual dexterity and ability to handle machinery safely
  • good judgment and decision-making skills
  • ability to drive across surrounding states to pick up our vehicles
  • must be outgoing and able to give a good impression to customers

Job Duties

  • Move and park vehicles in a timely and safe manner
  • aid in the service write-up process and tag customer cars and trucks for service
  • provide customers with rides to their homes or places of employment as needed
  • clean and maintain the area around the service department and showroom to ensure a tidy and presentable environment
  • collect and distribute mail and handle other pick-ups and deliveries as required
  • assist with vehicle deliveries and pick-ups
