Serving over 45 billion restaurant meals and cleaning more than a billion hotel rooms annually, Ecolab plays a critical role in helping its clients maintain safety, hygiene, and reputation. The company’s Institutional division focuses on delivering customized, effective solutions that meet the strictest industry standards to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
As a Service Operations Manager at Ecolab, you will hold a vital leadership position responsible for selecting, training, developing, and coaching a high-performing team of service representatives. This role emphasizes expertise in Ecolab’s equipment, machines, and service offerings, supporting strategic area growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of value to customers. You will act as the principal support leader, overseeing the execution of equipment and support infrastructure at customer locations and within your designated area, driving strong customer outcomes and operational excellence.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work with some of the world’s most recognized and iconic brands in a flexible and independent work environment. You will receive on-the-job training alongside subject matter experts and be equipped with a non-decal company vehicle for both business and personal use. Ecolab is committed to your professional growth, offering comprehensive benefits starting on day one of employment, including medical, dental, vision, a matching 401(k), company-paid pension, stock purchase plans, and tuition reimbursement.
In your role, you will manage a team of 6-12 service professionals, focusing on maintaining top-notch service delivery through proper equipment management, including storage sheds and third-party costs. You will be accountable for reaching corporate account rollout goals and optimizing equipment programs such as the Ecolab dish machine program (EDP). You will ensure the team meets installation and heavy service performance metrics, adhering to established protocols to maximize customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include coaching your team on the repair, preventative maintenance, and installation of equipment and solutions, recommending productivity enhancements, and strategically leveraging technology, routing, and safety tools. You will coordinate installations across your area, efficiently manage leased and non-sold equipment to guarantee proper payback and returns, and collaborate closely with district managers and customer account stakeholders. This role requires a proactive leader capable of driving operational efficiency, controlling costs, and understanding profit and loss management.
Candidates should reside within a commutable distance from Nashville, TN, and be prepared for approximately 25% overnight travel. The position demands a candid commitment to customer retention, conflict resolution, talent development, and fostering collaboration to ensure operational excellence.

The company provides reasonable accommodations as required and complies with all laws related to equal employment opportunity, fostering an inclusive workplace free from discrimination. If you are passionate about impactful leadership in service operations and eager to grow your career within a global company dedicated to safe environments and sustainability, this opportunity at Ecolab is an excellent match.
The annual total compensation for this role ranges from $85,800 to $128,800, inclusive of base pay and target incentives based on performance.
