The Service Manager role at Honeygrow focuses on leading restaurant operations by implementing and enforcing company policies, procedures, training programs, and cultural values. The Service Manager acts as a role model and leader, supporting the General Manager in developing team members into top performers who uphold Honeygrow’s mission and values. Responsibilities include mastery of all restaurant stations, managing cash and administrative duties, coaching and developing employees, overseeing food safety protocols, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience through the execution of Honeygrow’s Engine principles — speed, accuracy, cleanliness, superior product, and hospitality. This full-time role offers a competitive pay range of $17.25 to $18.50 per hour plus tips, with service managers earning an average of $2.95 per hour in tips in recent months. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must meet scheduling needs of the restaurant
  • Strong food preparation experience
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Previous training experience preferred
  • Minimum one year of restaurant experience
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Must possess close, distance, and peripheral vision
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, and reach
  • Dexterity to handle kitchen equipment
  • Comfortable working near open flames
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with hot and cold areas
  • Ability to work in tight spaces
  • Ability to communicate effectively in high noise environments

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of restaurant experience
  • Strong food preparation skills
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Previous training experience preferred
  • Ability to perform all station functions at the Service Manager level

Job Duties

  • Lead restaurant operations by enforcing all policies, procedures, standards, training programs, and cultural points
  • Support the General Manager in training and empowering employees to achieve Honeygrow standards
  • Demonstrate integrity, honesty, and exceed guest and team member expectations
  • Manage and perform all restaurant stations and functions through the Service Manager level
  • Oversee cash management, nightly report packaging, and administrative work
  • Train, coach, and develop employees with patience and diligence
  • Ensure delivery of outstanding guest experiences by executing speed, accuracy, cleanliness, superior product, and hospitality
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety guidelines and procedures
  • Supervise and manage scheduled shifts
  • Maintain restaurant facility standards and lead preventative maintenance plans
  • Complete all facilities and food safety processes including checklists and line checks
