Job Requirements
- 2-4 years experience in retail boating or similar industry
- supervisory experience preferred
- ability to calculate figures such as discounts, commissions, and percentages
- ability to read and analyze reports
- effective communication and presentation skills
- proficiency in PC-based word processing, spreadsheets and inventory management systems
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, customers and corporate staff
- able to walk, stand regularly, sit occasionally and lift up to 50lbs
Job Qualifications
- Experience in retail boating or similar industry
- supervisory experience is a plus

- ability to conduct meetings and presentations
- proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, database management and inventory systems

Job Duties
- Supports the Boat Manager in achieving financial goals for the Service area including service and parts sales, gross margin, inventory shrinkage and payroll goals
- provides daily supervision and direction to associates in the Service Department
- schedules and assigns all service, rigging and warranty work orders ensuring completion to customer satisfaction on time
- maintains and strives to increase associate productivity
- ensures a safe, clean and secure work environment
- promotes world class customer service and a pleasant shopping experience
- assists in staffing by interviewing, recommending selection, coordinating training and preparing schedules
- coaches and motivates associates to foster positive customer relations and productive team environment
- resolves customer and associate issues with Boat Manager
- assists in coordinating special events such as boat shows and promotions
- manages and ensures accuracy of unit and parts inventories
- ensures timely submission and receipt of warranty claims and payments
- ensures proper detailing and professional delivery of units
- executes supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, training, planning, assigning work, performance evaluation, and maintaining a harassment-free workplace
- performs all other duties as assigned
