The Service Manager role at the Allentown location plays a crucial part in maintaining the high standards and smooth operation of the restaurant. This position involves leading daily restaurant operations while adhering to honeygrow's policies, procedures, standards, and training programs. The Service Manager is expected to embody and promote the brand’s core values in every interaction with guests and team members, ensuring exceptional guest experiences through efficiency, accuracy, hospitality, and superior product quality.

This role requires a strong leader who can not only perform their own tasks at every station within the restaurant but also actively train, coach, and develop all employees to achieve top performance levels. The Service Manager works closely with the General Manager to foster a positive team environment and ensure that every guest receives outstanding service.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to meet the scheduling needs of the restaurant
  • Strong food prep experience
  • ServSafe Certification preferred
  • Previous training experience preferred
  • Minimum one year of restaurant experience
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Must possess close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision
  • Must be able to frequently bend, stoop, and reach
  • Must have dexterity to handle kitchen equipment
  • Must be comfortable working near open flames
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with hot and cold areas
  • Must be able to work in tight spaces
  • Must be able to work and communicate effectively in an environment with high noise-levels

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of restaurant experience

Job Duties

  • Lead honeygrow restaurant operations through understanding and enforcing all policies, procedures, standards, training programs, and cultural points
  • Strive to be a honeygrow top performer, elevating self, team, and brand
  • Support the General Manager in teaching the team how to achieve hg Standards
  • Demonstrate integrity, honesty, and ability to exceed guest and team expectations while promoting honeygrow culture and values
  • Fully comprehend and perform every station in the restaurant and be trained through Service Manager level
  • Oversee cash management, nightly report packaging, and other administrative tasks
  • Actively train, coach, and develop all employees with patience and diligence
  • Ensure delivery of a fantastic guest experience executing hg Engine components including speed, accuracy, cleanliness, superior product, and hospitality
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety guidelines and procedures
  • Supervise scheduled shifts effectively
  • Uphold restaurant facilities standards and lead preventative maintenance plans
  • Complete facilities and food safety processes including opening/closing checklists, line checks, and cleaning checklists
