The role of Service Manager at Texas Roadhouse is pivotal in ensuring that the front of house operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires an individual passionate about people and committed to delivering a legendary guest experience. The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all front of house employees and daily operations, ensuring that service standards align with Texas Roadhouse's core values. Duties include driving sales, maintaining high standards of service, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The Service Manager also plays a key role in training staff, managing performance, controlling liquor costs, and ensuring compliance with employment policies and liquor laws.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a management role within the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of food safety practices
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Job Duties

  • Driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
  • Enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety
  • Providing and directing front of house training
  • Managing performance of front of house employees including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • Managing liquor orders and controlling liquor costs
  • Enforcing liquor laws and responsible alcohol service guidelines
  • Assisting in development and feedback for employees
  • Reviewing applications, interviewing and recommending hiring
  • Setting employee schedules and assigning tasks
  • Creating a fun and safe environment through contests, theme nights, and incentives
  • Practicing safe food handling procedures
