The Service Manager role at Texas Roadhouse is a pivotal leadership position within the Front of House operations. This role is responsible for overseeing all daily activities in the front section of the restaurant, managing a team of Front of House employees to ensure that every guest receives legendary customer service consistent with the brand's standards. The Service Manager plays an integral role in driving sales, maintaining excellent steps of service, and enhancing guest satisfaction. In this role, the Service Manager will enforce compliance with employment policies, supervise restaurant cleanliness, and ensure the safety of both guests and staff. They provide comprehensive training for all Front of House employees and are responsible for managing employee performance through evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Additionally, the Service Manager oversees liquor orders, controls liquor costs, and ensures adherence to liquor laws and responsible alcohol service guidelines. The Service Manager also plays a key role in the recruitment process by reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
Beyond routine management duties, the Service Manager is encouraged to foster a fun, safe, and motivated workplace culture by organizing contests, theme nights, and incentivized programs. They work closely with key employees and assistant managers to support their development with daily performance feedback and effective coaching. Operationally, the Service Manager directs scheduling, assigns tasks for various shifts, and maintains strict safe food handling standards.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant management or related field
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to upholding company policies and food safety procedures
