The Service Manager role at Texas Roadhouse plays a critical part in supporting the company's mission to deliver legendary food and service. This position entails overseeing all Front of House daily operations and managing the Front of House team to ensure guests receive outstanding dining experiences. The Service Manager is responsible for driving sales, maintaining high standards of service, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The Service Manager oversees training, performance management, and compliance with employment policies, as well as the enforcement of liquor laws and responsible alcohol service. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a supervisory or management position in the restaurant industry
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
  • ability to manage and lead a team effectively

Job Duties

  • Driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
  • enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety
  • providing or directing all Front of House training
  • managing performance of Front of House employees including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • managing liquor orders and controlling liquor costs
  • enforcing applicable liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
  • assisting with development of key employees by providing daily feedback during one-on-ones
  • reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring or recommending hiring of Front of House employees
  • directing work including setting hours, schedules, and assigning tasks
  • creating a fun and safe environment by following core values, implementing contests, theme nights, and staff incentives
  • understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures
