Texas Roadhouse is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Service Manager to join their team. This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all Front of House daily operations and managing Front of House employees to ensure Texas Roadhouse's commitment to Legendary Food and Legendary Service is consistently delivered. The position demands a professional who is not only passionate about people but also driven by creating a legendary guest experience. The Service Manager will be instrumental in driving sales, enhancing guest satisfaction, and upholding strict compliance with employment policies, cleanliness, and safety standards.
In this role, the Service Manager will provide or direct all Front of House training while managing employee performance through evaluations, coaching, and discipline. The job also includes responsibilities such as managing liquor orders, controlling costs, and ensuring adherence to applicable liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines. A key part of the role involves supporting the professional development of key employees, assistant managers, and hourly employees by providing daily feedback and conducting one-on-one sessions.
The Service Manager will play an active role in recruitment by reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and either hiring or recommending Front of House employees. They will also be responsible for scheduling, task assignment, and fostering a fun, safe environment by implementing operational goals, contests, theme nights, and incentives. The position requires knowledge and practice of safe food handling procedures and adherence to Texas Roadhouse’s core values.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in food service management or hospitality
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards and alcohol service laws
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Availability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the food service industry
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Ability to manage and motivate a team
- Experience in coaching, performance evaluation, and disciplinary processes
- Familiarity with scheduling and labor management
- High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties
- Driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
- Enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness of restaurant and safety of guests
- Providing or directing all Front of House training
- Managing performance of Front of House employees, including conducting performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline
- Managing liquor orders and controlling liquor costs
- Enforcing applicable liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
- Assisting with the development of all key employees, assistant managers, and hourly employees by providing daily feedback on performance during one-on-ones
- Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring or recommending the hiring of Front of House employees
- Directing work for employees including setting hours and weekly schedules and assigning tasks
- Creating a fun, safe environment by following core values and operational goals, and implementing contests, theme nights, and creating incentives for the staff
- Understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures
