The role of Service Manager at Texas Roadhouse is a critical leadership position focused on overseeing all front of house (FOH) operations. This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $55,000 to $65,000. The Service Manager is responsible for ensuring that every guest experiences the legendary service and exceptional food quality that Texas Roadhouse is known for. This involves supervising front of house employees, driving sales and guest satisfaction, managing schedules, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The Service Manager coordinates training and development of all FOH staff, encouraging a positive and productive work atmosphere. They are tasked with enforcing employment policies, liquor laws, and food safety standards while fostering a fun and safe environment that aligns with the company’s core values. The role also includes administrative responsibilities such as recruiting, hiring, conducting performance evaluations, and implementing incentive programs to motivate the team. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in restaurant or hospitality management
  • knowledge of employment policies and liquor law compliance
  • ability to manage and motivate a team
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • food handling certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
  • enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness of restaurant and safety of guests
  • providing or directing all Front of House training
  • managing performance of Front of House employees, including conducting performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • managing liquor orders and controlling liquor costs
  • enforcing applicable liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
  • assisting with the development of all key employees, assistant managers, and hourly employees by providing daily feedback
  • reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring or recommending the hiring of Front of House employees
  • directing work for employees including setting hours and weekly schedules and assigning tasks
  • creating a fun, safe environment by following core values and operational goals and implementing contests, theme nights, and incentives
  • understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures
