Texas Roadhouse is currently looking for a legendary Service Manager to join their team. This role focuses on overseeing all Front of House daily operations to ensure the delivery of Legendary Food and Legendary Service to every guest. The Service Manager is a pivotal part of the company’s leadership team, responsible for managing Front of House employees, driving sales, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and guaranteeing the safety of guests in the restaurant at all times. The ideal candidate for the Service Manager position will have a passion for people and excellent guest service skills. They will be deeply involved in training, coaching, and developing Front of House employees to help them realize their potential. Key responsibilities include managing liquor orders and controlling liquor costs, enforcing liquor laws and responsible alcohol service guidelines, and driving operational excellence through scheduling and task assignments. The role also involves conducting performance evaluations, coaching employees on their performance, and handling hiring decisions for Front of House staff.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a supervisory or management role in hospitality or restaurant industry
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • valid identification for alcohol service compliance
  • basic computer skills for scheduling and reporting

Job Duties

  • Driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
  • enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety
  • providing or directing all Front of House training
  • managing performance of Front of House employees including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • managing liquor orders and controlling liquor costs
  • enforcing liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
  • assisting with development of key employees and providing daily feedback
  • reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring Front of House employees
  • directing work schedules and assigning tasks
  • creating a fun and safe environment through contests, theme nights, and staff incentives
  • understanding and practicing safe food handling procedures
