Job Description

Texas Roadhouse is a renowned casual dining restaurant chain that has built its reputation on legendary food and legendary service. Known primarily for its hand-cut steaks, made-from-scratch sides, and freshly baked bread, Texas Roadhouse creates a welcoming environment where guests can enjoy a great meal paired with warm hospitality. As a people-first company, Texas Roadhouse not only prioritizes delivering an exceptional dining experience to its guests but also emphasizes creating a thriving, supportive culture for its employees. This approach has made it a popular employer within the restaurant industry and a go-to destination for guests seeking quality dining in a fun and lively atmosphere.

At Texas Roadhouse, the role of a Service Manager is pivotal in upholding the company’s commitment to legendary service. This full-time position is centered around managing all Front of House (FOH) operations, ensuring every guest receives high-quality service from the moment they enter the restaurant until the time they leave. The Service Manager leads the FOH team, which includes servers, hosts, bartenders, and other customer-facing staff, fostering a collaborative and energetic work environment that motivates employees and promotes career growth.

The Service Manager’s responsibilities extend to driving sales through effective team leadership and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies and liquor laws. They play a vital role in employee development by conducting trainings, evaluating performance, coaching, and providing constructive feedback. This position also involves recruiting and hiring FOH staff, creating work schedules, overseeing inventory management—especially for liquor orders—and directly contributing to the restaurant’s operational success.

Beyond operational oversight, the Service Manager is expected to innovate ways to engage the team by implementing contests, theme nights, and incentive programs, thereby fostering a fun and safe work culture aligned with Texas Roadhouse’s core values. This role demands an individual passionate about people and hospitality who can maintain excellent guest satisfaction metrics and contribute positively to the overall restaurant atmosphere.

Texas Roadhouse offers its Service Managers a comprehensive total rewards package after 30 days of employment, which includes top-tier medical plans, dental and vision insurance, generous paid leaves including maternity leave, adoption assistance, disability coverages, various insurance protections, an employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plans, flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursements, profit-sharing programs, restricted stock units, and numerous community support opportunities. This extensive benefits package highlights Texas Roadhouse’s dedication to supporting its team members’ well-being inside and outside of work.

If you are a motivated leader eager to join a respected restaurant brand known for its legendary food and people-first philosophy, the Service Manager role at Texas Roadhouse offers an exciting career path with opportunities for growth, training, recognition, and ongoing development. Join Texas Roadhouse and be part of a vibrant team where you can make a meaningful impact every day while advancing your hospitality career.
