The role at Texas Roadhouse is that of a Service Manager, a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing all Front of House operations in the restaurant. This full-time role offers a competitive annual salary range from $70,304 to $90,000, with eligibility for bonuses based on store performance. The Service Manager ensures that Texas Roadhouse continues to provide the high standards of service and food quality that guests expect. This includes managing Front of House employees, maintaining strict compliance with employment policies, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for both guests and staff.

In this role, the Service Manager drives sales, maintains the steps of service, and continuously seeks to enhance guest satisfaction. They play a key role in training and developing employees, providing feedback, conducting performance evaluations, and managing schedules to optimize restaurant operations. An essential duty includes overseeing liquor orders, controlling costs, and enforcing the Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines to guarantee compliance with applicable liquor laws. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • certification or willingness to obtain Responsible Alcohol Service training
  • ability to perform physical tasks required in a restaurant setting

Job Duties

  • managing liquor orders and controlling liquor costs

  • assisting with development of key employees through daily feedback and coaching
  • reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring Front of House employees
  • directing employee work including setting hours, schedules, and assigning tasks
  • creating a fun, safe environment with contests, theme nights, and incentives
  • understanding and practicing safe food handling procedures
