Texas Roadhouse is currently seeking a dedicated Service Manager to join their leadership team. This role is pivotal in managing all Front of House operations, ensuring impeccable service standards, and delivering an unforgettable dining experience. The Service Manager’s mission is to drive sales, oversee daily restaurant operations, and lead the Front of House team to meet and exceed customer expectations. This position requires a natural leader with an eagerness to mentor staff, uphold safety and cleanliness standards, and maintain compliance with all company policies and applicable laws. From managing liquor orders to coaching employees and organizing engaging team activities, the Service Manager is essential in maintaining the vibrant, fun, and safe environment that Texas Roadhouse customers and employees cherish.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role preferably in restaurant management
  • Familiarity with POS systems and scheduling software
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks when necessary

Job Qualifications

  • Previous management experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of liquor laws and responsible alcohol service
  • Experience in employee training and development
  • Ability to enforce policies and maintain safety standards

Job Duties

  • Drive sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
  • Enforce compliance with employment policies and oversee cleanliness and safety
  • Provide or direct all Front of House training
  • Manage performance of Front of House employees including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • Manage liquor orders and control liquor costs
  • Enforce liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
  • Assist with the development of key employees through daily feedback
  • Review applications, interview, and hire or recommend hiring Front of House employees
  • Direct employee work including hours, schedules, and task assignments
  • Create a fun, safe environment through core values, contests, theme nights, and staff incentives
  • Understand and practice safe food handling procedures
