As a business that operates multiple dealerships, including Ken Garff Volkswagen Southtowne, the group prides itself on its not just being your typical dealership. They aim to do things differently by continuously changing, growing, and progressing to meet and exceed the expectations of their customers and employees alike. This progressive mindset ensures that employees are often proud of their workplace environment and culture.
Ken Garff Volkswagen Southtowne is seeking a Service Lot Attendant (Valet) who shares the company’s core values of respect, integrity, growth, humility, and teamwork. This role is essential within the service department as it supports the smooth movement and maintenance of vehicles on the lot and the service drive, while ensuring customers have a warm and welcoming experience. The Service Lot Attendant will serve as a personable and professional face for the service department, responsible for assisting customers, managing vehicle organization on the lot, cleaning vehicles, and providing shuttle services where needed.
The position demands a high degree of precision, accountability, and detail-oriented work ethic. Candidates equipped with strong communication and listening skills who bring positive energy are highly valued. At least 18 years of age, possess a valid in-state driver’s license, and have a clean driving record as per company standards are required. A high school diploma or equivalent is also a prerequisite. The role involves considerable interaction with customers, making approachability and unselfishness crucial traits.
Working with Ken Garff offers competitive compensation, a comprehensive benefits package, and a work culture that emphasizes employee growth. Employees benefit from 401k plans with company match, wellness time off, personal purpose days, and inclusive insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. Additional wellness benefits such as flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, employee assistance programs, mental health support, diabetes management, and parental leave stipends demonstrate the company’s commitment to holistic employee wellness. Year-end bonuses and employee discounts on services and vehicle purchases further enrich the overall compensation.
This role also offers clear career pathways with growth opportunities into service and sales roles within the Ken Garff organization. As a Service Lot Attendant, you’ll be part of a team that values listening and mutual respect above all else — a rare quality within the automotive industry. The culture is described as humble yet dynamic, founded on treating people right, building trust, and fostering long-term relationships. If you are eager to contribute to an organization set on reinventing the automotive retail experience and living its values every day, Ken Garff Volkswagen Southtowne invites you to join their team and be part of something remarkable.
