The Service Leader position plays a pivotal role in maintaining the restaurant's operation excellence and enhancing customer experiences. This role is typically full-time and involves being actively on the floor during shifts to oversee food preparation and service quality. The Service Leader ensures that every customer receives great tasting, high-quality food in a timely manner. They uphold strict food safety standards, including hand washing, glove changes, temperature monitoring, and compliance with food safety checklists and policies. By managing the crew effectively—handling training, scheduling, and performance reviews—the Service Leader ensures that the front-of-house team excels in delivering outstanding service.

Beyond frontline responsibilities, the Service Leader assists with administrative tasks such as cash handling, banking, and office paperwork, ensuring operational smoothness behind the scenes. They contribute to fostering a positive work environment where crew members are motivated and supported in their professional development, including grooming future leaders within the team.

This role demands key skills, including knowledge of Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy, cash handling procedures, food safety requirements, and familiarity with office operations.
