The Service Leader role at Chipotle is pivotal in maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring that safe and high-quality food is prepared and served consistently. This position goes beyond traditional fast food service by engaging directly in food safety protocols, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction initiatives. Service Leaders are on their feet delivering hands-on support to their teams, managing equipment, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment throughout their shifts. They are also responsible for training and developing crew members, monitoring compliance with company policies, and assisting with administrative duties including cash handling and office management. This full-time role requires an individual who is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about food integrity and excellent service. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Restaurant experience
  • Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of food safety and health department regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the work location
  • Ability to perform physical duties including standing for long periods
  • Ability to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Restaurant experience
  • Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
  • Understanding and ability to articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
  • Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
  • Familiarity with office paperwork
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location

Job Duties

  • Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served
  • Help resolve food quality issues
  • Support food safety including hand washing and glove changes, monitor time and temperature on line, monitor secondary shelf lives, ensure Daily Food Safety Checklist and food safety policies and procedures are followed
  • Help resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
  • Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
  • Develop and cross train all front of house crew
  • Assist with crew performance reviews
  • Develop future service leaders
  • Assist with office administration such as banking, cash handling policies, and office paperwork
  • Ensure office equipment is in working order and office supplies are ordered
  • Ensure proper quantity of supplies are available as needed
