Job Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is a pioneering restaurant company that is dedicated to cultivating a better world by serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food made with wholesome ingredients free from artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Established as a transformative presence in the fast-casual dining sector, Chipotle prioritizes quality and integrity, continuously challenging traditional fast-food norms. The company's footprint spans the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, and it stands uniquely as the only restaurant company of its size that owns and operates all its locations in North America and Europe. With a rich heritage centered around providing exceptional guest experiences, Chipotle has earned a reputation for innovation, particularly in digital technology, sustainable practices, and making better food accessible to all. Its commitment to these values manifests in every aspect of its operation, fostering an environment that supports employees and customers alike.

The opportunity at Chipotle centers on the role of Service Leader, a key position within the restaurant's leadership team focused on maintaining high standards of customer experience and food quality. As a Service Leader, you will be instrumental in ensuring that the food served is not only fast but also safe, fresh, and delicious, aligning with Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy. The Service Leader also plays a vital role in administrative duties such as cash handling, office paperwork, and supply management, making it a multifaceted position that balances frontline service and back-of-house organization. Their presence on the floor during shifts ensures a clean, organized food line and assists the team whenever additional help is necessary. This position demands a proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement both personally and for the team. Chipotle values employee growth, offering considerable opportunities for advancement, with a pathway that has seen 80% of managers start as crew. Benefits supporting the well-being and future of the Service Leader include tuition assistance, comprehensive medical coverage, paid time off, holiday closures, and a competitive compensation package.
