Job Description
Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is a renowned restaurant company dedicated to cultivating a better world through responsibly sourced, classically cooked real food made with wholesome ingredients without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Founded with the mission to make better food accessible to everyone, Chipotle has set itself apart from typical fast-food chains by using high-quality ingredients and supporting sustainable farming practices. With a presence in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, Chipotle remains unique as the only restaurant company of its size that owns and operates all its locations in North America and Europe. This ownership allows the company to maintain a consistent commitment to customer experience, food quality, and safety across all its venues.
The culture at Chipotle is deeply ingrained with values that emphasize responsibility, sustainability, and culinary excellence. Employees are passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience, and the brand is notable for leading innovation in digital, technology, and sustainable business practices within the food industry. Chipotle’s approach is not just about serving food quickly but about redefining fast casual dining with a mission-driven ethos.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Service Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring that safe, high quality food is prepared and served promptly. As a Service Leader, you will play a critical role in training and guiding the restaurant crew to provide excellent customer service and uphold the highest operational standards. This position requires hands-on leadership, including standing on your feet throughout your shifts, monitoring and managing the food line and equipment, and overseeing all front-of-house operations.
Your responsibilities will include supporting food safety measures, resolving food quality issues, helping to manage crew breaks and shift schedules, and assisting with administrative duties such as cash handling and office paperwork. The Service Leader acts as a role model and mentor, helping to develop future leaders within the team. This role is vital to sustaining the Chipotle commitment to a safe and welcoming restaurant environment where guests can enjoy great tasting, high quality meals.
The position offers competitive compensation with a base pay range of $21.30 to $23.70 per hour, plus eligibility for digital tips. Chipotle provides comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, tuition assistance, free meals during shifts, holiday closures, and opportunities for career growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that values its employees and is passionate about transforming the food industry.
